Commissions
All commissions are completed in order of request. A deposit of 25% and photographs of the subject(s) are required to be placed on my commission schedule. If a portrait is to be a gift and must be completed by a specific date, please contact me as early as possible (at least 4-6 months before) and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Art takes time. My goal is to create a piece that will be treasured and sometimes it takes a while for me to be satisfied with a piece! When a piece is placed on my schedule, I will give you a best estimate of completion. Photos of the piece in progress can be emailed to you for approval throughout the process.
The best portraits start with good photographs, but a cute photo may not make the best portrait. Sending me multiple photos is a great place to start and we can discuss which would work the best for your portrait. If you are local to me (in the Triad area of NC) I am available to take photos if needed. If the piece is a memorial, then multiple photos are preferable. Please contact me with any questions about photos.
Some pieces will be used as samples on my website and reproduced for sale as prints or for show as representations of my work.
